Now, it has become known that Breakfast is the ‘most important meal of the day’. There is no doubt that I absolutely agree with this and for this reason, I love to try to create new recipes for breakfast every single week. Trying to incorporate all my favourite foods has been hard, however I think I have mastered the art! With this blog post I hope to give you all some motivation inspiration to make the start of your day as enjoyable as it can be! Rye Bread
Now when I first started to become interested in the health and wellbeing lifestyle, I didn’t even know Rye Bread existed! After watching Niomi Smart’s ‘What I Eat In a Day’ video, I couldn’t wait to try it. My Favourite Brand for Rye Bread is Biona Organic, pumpkin seed. I find that the fun part is choosing the toppings, at the moment I have been loving the combination of avocado and poached egg on one side, on the other side, St Dalfour, Strawberry and Blueberry Jam with peanut butter and half a banana.
Coyo Yoghurt with Fruit
After discovering this Coyo yoghurt, I was amazed at how something so good for you, can taste so delicious! I chose the vanilla flavour and I have to admit that this is my favourite so far. Previously I have tried the natural and chocolate flavour, they are both very tasty aswell. Not only are these great for breakfast, however I feel that they would make for a brillant afternoon snack. One thing I have been loving recently is frozen mango, I could eat it all day everyday! In my bowl for breafast I also topped this combination with raisins, pistachio nuts, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries and coconut.
The summer months are slowly creeping in and when it is nice and sunny outside, it is the perfect time to make a smoothie. I find that they are really light and refreshing, perfect way to start the day. My personal preference for a smoothie is for it to be slightly on the sweeter side. I love the combination of banana, avocado, cacao powder, almond milk and a few ice cubes! Its making my tummy rumble even thinking about it. My mum is also a big fan of this, she always enjoys it when I make it for her. My favourite cacao powder to use is the one from Planet Organic. I find that Planet Organic is the most versatile online shop where you can find most healthy ingredients and I love doing monthly delivery’s.
